Everyone is invited & encouraged to help. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the west hall.

LENT HAS BEGUN: Mark your calendars as we will once again be offering a supper each Wednesday of Lent. The meals will once again be served at 6:00 P.M. The suggested donation is $2.50 for adults and $1.00 for children. Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and relatives. In these tough economic times these meals are a good balue for the money and can help to stretch the budget dollars. It also provides an avenue for us to reach out to the community and fellowship with our neighbors.
THE PASTOR'S CLASS has begun and will run through Sun., Mar. 28th. The class is designed for youth and interested adults who are interested in following Jesus Christ and making a commitment to Him and His church. The Classes will begin each Sunday at 9:30A.M.
THE 24 HOUR PRAYER VIGIL sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the west hall. The Prayer Vigil will be held in the Church Library on Wednesday, March 31st. This is the Wednesday before Easter. You may sign up for half hour increments or you may take an entire hour if you wish. Communion will be available for thsoe who desire to partake during their prayer time. If you have not participated before we hope that you will do so this year. This is a wonderful time of intentional prayer in a very peaceful, meditative atmosphere; during this very special time of year for us as Disciples of Christ. If you are unable to make it into the church to pray, but you would like to participate from home, please phone the church office at 592-8656.
THE STEWARDSHIP AND FINANCE TEAM is hosting a fund raiser "Italian Under the Dome" on Saturday, March 20th from 4:30 - 7:00 P.M. They will be serving Lasagna, Salad, Bread Sticks, Sherbet, Cookie & Beverage for $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12 years of age. There will also be pizza available for the children who would prefer. There will also be a variety of gift baskets that will be raffled. Please join us and invite your friends!
THE FACILITIES RESOURCE TEAM has scheduled an all church work day from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 20th. We will do some spring cleaning and minor repairs to keep our church home in top notch condition. All are invited to participate. It takes a Congregation to maintain the church.
HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS will once again be for sale for $3.00 per half dozen and they will available for pick up on Palm Sunday, March 28th . Please see any member of the Sojourner SundaySchool Class, Sign up on the bulletin board in the west hall or phone the church office to place your order.
THE FOOD TRAIN has pulled into the west hall for the month of March. Please bring your gifts of non-perishable food items, toiletries and paper goods for donation to the Lutheran Thrift Store. These items help those who are in need in Logan County.
